A Great Way To Give Your Business A Boost: Internet Marketing
Starting your own online business could be a great way to generate an extra income. There are many who are not sure of the best way to get started in this new area and you may be looking for help yourself. The information provided to you in this article will assist you in getting started with Internet marketing.
Provide proof to support statements you make in advertisements. People are justifiably skeptical of what they read on the Internet. Testimonials, results of studies, along with great references and guarantees help to ensure a sense of credibility. Simply making claims with no evidence to back it up will make anything you say dismissive.
Creating unique and quality content is important to successful Internet marketing. Search engines routinely filter out duplicate content, so you will be unable to achieve a high ranking. Learn how you can be innovative.
Use emotional words and concepts in your ads. People will pay attention if you mention happiness, love or security. You should pay attention to what TV ads are doing and adopt a similar discourse to encourage people to relate on a very personal level to the products you are offering them.
Always offer to give your customer their money back if they are not satisfied. Customers need to know you will make an effort to to accept responsibility for your products or services that don't work out for them. Customers are more likely to trust you with a guarantee.
Try having a sale for new customers! This could be a good way to launch your online business or to generate a buzz as you release a new product. People may also be more likely to add other products to their cart at the same time. Believe in what you sell!
Use internal links that include your keywords. Once you get a visitor to your site, keeping them there becomes vital. If you use links to direct them to previous posts or other relevant information elsewhere on the site, you can keep them around much longer. When you link to keywords in your site you will get more visits.
Business owners must be very involved in deciding the best content for their website. After all, the content of your website represents the company image and it should contain useful information for the customer. Business owners should look at their website often and imagine looking at it from a customer's point-of-view. Ask yourself whether or not a customer can learn anything useful from visiting your website.
Prepared with a deeper understanding of Internet marketing, you can plan out some goals. Ensure you have a goal in mind, both short and long term. By setting goals, you will continually strive to meet those goals resulting in greater success.

Great ways to gain market position
By Kathleen Gage
Marketing is not only about getting word out about your product or service; in most cases you must also establish yourself as an expert. With competition for the consumer’s dollars at an all time high, there are some very simple strategies you can implement to gain better market position while increasing your expert status. A better position can equate to increased revenues.
To gain expert status some will choose to put their knowledge into a book. The world of book publishing has changed so much that what was once out of the reach for many is now very doable. However, there is time, effort and costs involved in taking a book to market.
A more viable option for many would be as simple as writing reports and/or articles. If you have knowledge about a particular subject, turn that knowledge into a special report. A special report is a multi-page document packed with valuable “how-to” information that readers can use immediately.
Special Reports
A special report contains information on a specific topic. You can either write the report yourself, have a staff member write it, or hire a ghostwriter. There are plenty of freelance writers who can develop your information into an excellent report.
In some cases you will want to give your report away and in other cases you will sell the report. Primary reasons to give your report away is to drive traffic to your website, promotional opportunities, and as a thank you to premier clients.
Reports position you as an expert. The most common type of Special Report is a “How to” report. Your report should solve a problem such as making money, getting healthy, building a successful business, building a better team, etc.
Here are some quick tips to write an effective report.
- Write on something specific to your knowledge base.
- Outline your report so that there is a good flow to the information.
- Virtually any topic can be written about if there is a market demand. What people are looking for are ways to increase income or revenue, increase productivity, improve the quality of their personal or professional life, or decrease costs in some way. It may be that you have something that covers all these points or it could be a report on one of these points.
- Research your information as you develop your report. You will find people want more of your reports if the information is well researched and valuable.
- Often the most difficult part of writing is starting. The best advice I can give is to just start and don’t worry about how it reads. Once you have written all the information, then read through it and rewrite as necessary.
- Have someone else read the piece as well. It is recommended to have your report edited regardless of how good a writer you are. This will assure you are concise in your delivery of information.
Article Writing and Distribution
Another option for gaining market position and expert status is writing articles. With the world of online marketing, gaining visibility for your articles is as close as the press of a button. Additionally, you can make the articles available for download from your website.
Although most online article directories will not pay you for your articles, you do gain greater website position every time your article shows up in a directory or another companies Ezine (electronic newsletter). The potential for increased search engine optimization is excellent.
There are numerous advantages to writing and distributing articles online:
- Establishes you as an expert
- Credibility for you and your business
- Increased visibility for your website
- Greater ranking on search engines when articles are posted
- Increased leads, more clients, greater sales
- Opportunity for up selling
The process for writing your articles is similar to writing a report. For online purposes the length usually ranges from 400 – 800 words. Depending on the publication it may be more or less. In rare cases, once you submit an article to a specific publication they may request you not submit it anywhere else. Depending on how targeted their readership is would determine if this would be a good choice for you.
To learn how many places you can distribute your articles do a quick Google search with the words “my topic + newsletters.” Likely you will be amazed at how many locations would love to have your expert information. The returns can definitely be worth the time invested.

Seven Keys to High-Energy Living
By Brian Tracy
Energy is a key luck factor. For you to be at the top of your form, to be action oriented, fast moving, and extremely productive, you have to have high levels of physical and mental energy.
For you to be able to take advantage of all the possibilities around you, and to have the continuous enthusiasm that keeps you and others motivated and moving ahead, you have to organize your life so that you feel terrific about yourself most of the time.
1. Eat the Right Foods
The first key to high energy is a proper diet. To perform at your best, you must eat the right foods, in the right balance, and in the right combination. Your diet has an inordinate impact on the amount of energy you have, how well you sleep, your levels of health and fitness, and your performance throughout the day and into the evening.
2. Watch your Weight
The second key to high energy is proper weight. Proper weight is essential for health, happiness, and long life. Being slightly under your ideal weight is best. As they say, you can never be too rich or too thin. If you are not happy with your current level of physical health, you need to set specific goals for yourself for the weeks and months ahead.
3. Exercise is Essential
The third key to high energy is proper exercise. The best activity for high energy and physical fitness is aerobic exercise. This type of exercise requires that you get your heart rate up into what is called the training zone three times per week. This training zone is about 120 to 160 beats per minute, depending on your age. You then keep it there for at least 20 minutes or more each session.
4. Get Lots of Rest and Recreation
The fourth key to high energy is proper rest. You need an average of seven to eight hours of sleep each night to be fully rested. You need to take off at least one full day each week during which you don't work at all. You should take regular mini-holidays of two or three days each, every couple of months. You should take one and two week vacations each year when you relax completely and get your mind totally off your work.
5. Develop a Positive Mental Attitude
The sixth key to high energy is the elimination of negative emotions. This can be the most important thing you do to assure a long and happy life. Your ability to keep your mind on what you want and off of what you don't want will determine your levels of health and happiness more than any other decision you make.
6. Start a Personal Mental Fitness Program
The seventh key to high energy is for you to go on a 21-daypositive mental attitude diet, one day at a time. Resolve that, for the next 21 day, you are going to keep your mind on what you want and keep it off the things you don't want. You are going to think and talk positively and optimistically about your goals, other people, and everything that is going on in your life.
7. Become a Personal Powerhouse
The more you practice the health habits we have talked about, the more energy and vitality you will have. The more you keep your conversation focused on your goals and on the things you want, the greater the amount of strength and power you will feel. You will be more alert and aware. You will feel more positive and action oriented in every situation.

MlM relationship Goals
Had it not been for my career with an MLM company that lasted more than twenty years, my husband and I would not be able to enjoy our current free, very comfortable and adventurous lifestyle. We live in an RV resort at home in British Columbia Canada during summer and an RV resort in Yuma, AZ during winter. Our home is luxurious by motor coach standards and all we have to do is turn the key and drive the home down the highway whenever we wish to scratch the traveling itch.
I can’t say that I reached the highest pinnacle in this MLM Company but I can say it was close to that. What made me successful were my consistency in working the business, my tenacity and more than anything else my relationships with clients, colleagues and corporate staff. Because we are people first and business owners second, my relationships were the cement in my foundation. Nothing can be built on a flimsy foundation.
Thus, I put it to you that without healthy relationships in all segments of your life, your success in an MLM business, which is the epitome of Relationship Marketing, will be a struggle. I watched many a promising, talented woman crash and burn when a key relationship, either business or personal, went off the rails and fueled the fire of destruction.
MLM businesses tend to really appeal to women, especially if they are independently spirited. That could also be read as “I don’t want to be tied down to a J.O.B”. These women usually have entrepreneurial DNA in their genes and don’t take well to being followers. Most of us have a ‘leadership’ tendency, set our own timetable, rules and make our own choices. This is wonderful, but there is a downside. There is a tendency to run into more difficulties in relationships. We have the female traits of empathy and nurturing (right brained) which when combined with a strong sense of independence (left brained) can be akin to mixing babies with colic.
Relationships are complex; they will ride an up and down scale. The closer and more deep the relationship, the higher and lower it can ride on this scale. So how does one ensure that their array of relationships will help and not hinder their MLM success?
First, you must have relationship goals. This is the basis, the foundation. List the key people in your personal and business life (some may be in both lists). Decide what it is you want from each relationship. Decide what you want to give to each relationship. Let that person know.
Second, you need to expand your knowledge of human nature. Here is where you become a student, a voracious student. Read the Masters. You know who they are; Louise Hay, Wayne Dyer, Don Miguel Ruis, Jack Canfield, Bob Proctor to name a few of many.
Third, you must be willing to ask for help, usually before something becomes a crisis. Don’t allow things to fester, become deep rooted. Go to upline, go to corporate and if that isn’t feasible or appropriate, find a relationship coach. Not to act as negotiator, but to help you with your end of the relationship issues.
Fourth, know your own highest values. It is crucial that you live your life aligned with your values. Otherwise you are like a dog with a mouth full of peanut butter – your tongue will feel like it’s going to fall out from licking, but things remain stuck. What can you simply not live without? Freedom? Kindness? Organization? Find someone who knows how to guide you in a values exercise.
Fifth, know how to set your boundaries and inform others what they are. This is tougher for women than it is for men. Women have been traditionally raised to be of help to others, not stand up for themselves. It’s one of the reasons MLM appeals to women. But if you want to climb the ladder of success and independence, you must set boundaries. What is it you simply will not tolerate? Or, what are you tolerating right now? That will give you some hints.
Sixth, you have two ears and one mouth for a reason, become a true listener. It is in desperately short supply. It seems like no one really listens. Conversation goes back and forth with all sentences beginning with ‘I’. When we are not speaking we are running what we want to say in our heads rather than listening to the other person. When you deeply listen you can hear a person’s soul, you can hear what is not being said. It’s an art; an art that is truly appreciated and much needed. Hone it.
If you take all this in, you may find that you are doing pretty well with most of the secrets to MLM relationship success, you may find that you need to sharpen a couple, you may need to update yourself on all. Whatever it may be just start.
And remember to…

Important Question to ask a Sponsor
Choosing a sponsor is an important decision when choosing a MLM Business. Although your sponsor will not determine your success or failure, you can increase the likelihood of your success by your choice of a great sponsor. Here are 10 questions to ask in order to determine if the person you are speaking with is the right person for you to partner with:
1. What are your goals and vision for your business? Although the goals and vision of your sponsor will not determine your success, they can give you some excellent insight as to if the person is serious and can help you understand where they are headed with their business and
to see if you fit in with their long-term strategy.
2. How many MLM companies have you worked with? Although there are some serious leaders who have been in several companies, the reality is that if the person has jumped around a lot and has worked with multiple companies at once or has changes companies many times within a few years, you want to be careful. They may not have the commitment to the company they are currently with that you will want in order to create long-term income and stability.
3. What are your current methods of working the business? Although you can easily learn how to work the business using different methods than your sponsor, and you are certainly not expected to do things in the exact same way as your sponsor, the reality is that an ideal partner should have experience with the main methods that you plan to use. For example, if you want to build online but you sign up with someone who has never built online, it will be more difficult for you than if you choose a sponsor who has internet MLM experience.
4. What kind of training do you offer your team? This is something else you want to consider before making your choice. Various teams within various companies offer different kinds of training. Make sure that the training you need will be available when you need it.
5. Are you part time or full time in the industry? While there are many successful part-timers and you do not want to eliminate someone as a potential sponsor just because they are part-time, you want to at least know what there commitment to the business is as well as what kind of time they have available?
